Classical Hatha Yoga Workshops and Community Sessions
Yoga is a commitment, not a casual hobby. These gatherings in Navi Mumbai and beyond bring together dedicated individuals to learn Classical Hatha Yoga exactly as designed by Sadhguru.
"Classical Hatha Yoga is a complete path by itself. If you give yourself totally to this process, you can make yourself the way you want." Here I am, guiding participants through a session, offering this profound science.
Participants in a workshop learning to use yogasanas to sustain higher dimensions of energy. Hatha Yoga stems from a deep understanding of the body's mechanics. I offer these classes in Navi Mumbai and Mumbai.
A participant in our Ahmednagar workshop, fully engaged in the practice. It was an honor to offer these tools for transformation to such dedicated individuals.
Participants in our Ahmednagar workshop practicing a downward-facing posture. The commitment and spirit of every participant, including an Army colonel who traveled from Ladakh, was truly inspiring.
A participant in our Ahmednagar workshop practices Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose). His focus and dedication are a testament to the power of the human spirit to embrace transformation.
A participant in our Ahmednagar workshop, backlit by the morning sun, deep in her practice. It is a privilege to witness and guide such sincere seeking.
About Our Workshops & Community
When you join these workshops, expect a high-discipline environment. You must strictly follow the empty-stomach requirement, as this is a fundamental necessity for the energy processes we teach. We operate in intensive weekend formats, so you will need to set aside full days to complete the instruction sequences without interruption.
Our Approach to Hatha Yoga Workshops
I treat yoga as a technology for inner wellbeing rather than a way to get fit. My workshops are not drop-in classes. They are structured, intensive programs where the goal is to transfer the knowledge of Classical Hatha Yoga to you so you can practice independently at home.
Whether you are joining a Surya Kriya session or an Angamardana fitness module, the methodology remains the same. We focus on the geometry of the body and the mechanics of the breath. I do not teach 'studio yoga' with music and flow. I teach specific, potent processes that require your full attention and adherence to the guidelines.
What You Need to Know Before Registering
- Intensity: These workshops are demanding. You will be learning techniques that require precision and sustained effort.
- Prerequisites: Almost all practices require an empty stomach (typically 4 hours after a full meal). If you have health conditions, please discuss them during registration.
- Commitment: Attendance is mandatory for all sessions. If a workshop is spread over two days, you must attend every hour to complete the process.
- Post-Workshop: My role is to initiate you into these practices. The real work begins after the workshop when you integrate these tools into your daily sadhana.
Where We Conduct Sessions
While I maintain a dedicated space, the Classical Hatha Yogashala in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, I also travel to conduct workshops in other cities like Ahmednagar and across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. If you are a group or an organization looking to host a session, please reach out so we can discuss the requirements and logistics.
