Glimpses of My Yoga Practice
Yoga isn't just about the mat. Here is a peek into the ceremonies, quiet nature moments, and daily practice that shape my personal journey.
A collection of moments from my life as a yoga practitioner. From ceremonies and prop-based practice to quiet moments in nature, this shows the holistic way yoga is woven into my life.
About Additional Work
You might notice a mix of traditional ceremonies and deep, prop-based alignment work in these clips. Whether it is finding balance in a headstand or just sitting in silence, I believe this variety is what helps you sustain a daily practice. I am currently accepting new students at Krida Sports Academy in Andheri West, and I would love for you to join our small, supportive group.
My practice is not just about the final asana. It is about the process of getting there. You will see in these images that I rely heavily on props like wooden blocks, straps, and alignment chairs. This is an Iyengar-inspired approach, and I use these tools to ensure that everyone—regardless of age or current flexibility—can practice safely without strain.
Why I Integrate Different Styles
My sessions are a blend of Hatha foundation, Iyengar alignment, and mild Vinyasa flows. I have found that sticking to one rigid style does not always serve the student, especially if you are working with back pain or high stress levels.
- Alignment Focus: We prioritize safe posture over showing off. If you are struggling with a pose, we use a modification until your body is ready.
- Holistic Wellness: We do not skip the breath. Every class includes pranayama and meditation to help you carry that calm outside the studio.
- Community: My batches at Krida Sports Academy are kept small, between 8 to 15 students. This ensures I can provide hands-on tactile adjustments to correct your posture, much like I do in my private sessions.
Where to Find Me
If you are in Andheri West or the surrounding Mumbai areas, I am here to help you get started. Whether you are a complete beginner who has never touched a mat or someone looking to refine an advanced practice, we will go at your pace. The goal is not to perform, but to find that little bit of peace in your own skin.
