My background as a national-level athlete and sports physiotherapist means I evaluate your practice differently. We don't just hold poses; we analyze why you are struggling with a specific alignment or where you are holding tension. If you are struggling with a backbend, we look at your shoulder and hip mobility first. If you are balancing, we check your core engagement.

My Approach to Your Practice

  • Assessment: Every new client starts with a movement screening. We identify where you are tight, where you are weak, and what your specific goals are—whether that is pain relief, weight management, or mastering an advanced asana.
  • Technical Cues: You will hear me use specific, clear cues like 'pair seedha karo' (straighten your leg) to correct your posture in real-time. I believe in giving you the tools to understand your body so you can practice independently.
  • Supportive Props: I incorporate blocks, straps, and wall work to make challenging poses accessible. These tools allow us to build the necessary stability before we attempt deeper, more complex variations.
