Ever wanted to see the world from a different angle? Whether you are working toward your first headstand or refining your handstand balance, I am here to help you build the strength and focus to get there safely.

The way you love is who you are. A simple tuck handstand practice in Laos, focusing on core engagement and balance. Handstands are a journey of self-love and patience.

Good and not-so-good practice days. This video shows a jump into a handstand, embracing the philosophy of 'practice not perfect'. Every attempt teaches us something new.

Making space for new blessings with a Sirsasana (Headstand) flow. Inversions are a wonderful way to shift your perspective, both physically and mentally. This was filmed in a beautiful shala in Luang Prabang, Laos.

Evening flows with Tittibhasana (Firefly Pose). This advanced arm balance requires open hips and strong arms, and it's a pose we can build towards step-by-step in my online yoga classes.

Your breath is your real teacher. A practice of Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand) with a tuck variation, focusing on using the breath to find stability and calm in a challenging pose.

Post-practice mood. This video shows a transition from a forearm stand variation into Bakasana (Crow Pose), a playful and challenging flow to build strength and coordination.

My odd-ish relationship with Pincha Mayurasana. This video shows different entries into forearm stand, from a hollow back to a tuck, exploring the different ways to approach this powerful inversion.

About this collection

Inversions are not just about the pose; they are about shifting your perspective and building patience. I don't just teach you the technique—we work on the foundational strength, shoulder stability, and breath control needed to hold these poses safely. Whether you are working on a crow pose or a handstand, we break it down into manageable, progressive steps that fit your current level.

Building Foundations for Inversions

Many of my students come to me thinking they aren't 'strong enough' to go upside down. In reality, inversions like Sirsasana (Headstand) or Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand) aren't about brute force. They are about understanding how to stack your joints and engage your core. In our sessions, we focus on the mechanics first.

What We Cover

  • Shoulder Stability: We practice specific drills to protect your joints before you even kick up.
  • Core Engagement: Learning how to pull in and stabilize so you don't dump weight into your neck or wrists.
  • Breath Awareness: Using your breath as a tool for calm when you are upside down.
  • Safe Entry & Exit: You learn how to fall safely so you aren't afraid of the ground.

Beyond the Pose

I treat poses like Bakasana (Crow Pose) and handstands as tools for self-discovery. If you find yourself frustrated on the mat, we pause. We reset. We remember that the goal isn't just to be upside down—it's to be comfortable with the process of trying. Whether you are joining my small group batches in Delhi NCR or signing up for 1-on-1 personalized coaching, we move at your pace, not a predetermined schedule. Let's find your balance together.

Hi, I'm Suhani. When I'm not balancing on my hands in a park or by the sea, I'm usually navigating life as a mom, finding my own strength in the chaos. I believe your yoga practice should be a safe space to grow, fall, and try again, without the pressure of being perfect.
