My Yoga Journey: Real Practice and Personal Training

Welcome to my practice. Here, yoga is about showing up exactly as you are—wobbles, laughter, and all. From daily flows to session planning, this is where I share what it truly feels like to move with intent.

A short flow from a plank variation to Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose). This sequence is great for building core and upper body strength.

A lot of my work happens off the mat. Here's a quiet moment of planning a session and studying the benefits of different postures to create the best experience for my students.

A video showing some gentle sway stretches, including a variation of Baddakonasana (Butterfly Pose). These movements are perfect for loosening up the lower body and hips.

A demonstration of Parsvakonasana (Extended Side Angle Pose) in a beautiful outdoor setting. This pose is fantastic for improving lung capacity, digestion, and lower body flexibility.

Combining two of my favorite things: reading and yoga. Practicing Veerasana while reading helps maintain good posture and keeps me comfortable.

A moment of pause between poses. My yoga journey is as much about the quiet moments of reflection as it is about the physical postures.

About this collection

A lot of people ask me if you need to be flexible to start yoga. The answer is a hard no. In my sessions, we focus on micro-corrections and using props like books or belts to bridge the gap. Whether we are working on back pain relief or a new flow, it is about making the posture fit your body, not the other way around.

My practice isn't a performance. It is a space where we treat yoga as a tool for your mental and physical balance. I don't believe in forcing perfect alignment from day one. Instead, I guide you through breath-centered movement—Hatha, Vinyasa, or even simple stretches—that respects where your body is today.

Why my sessions feel different:

  • Small Batches: I cap my group sessions at 12 students. This ensures I can actually see you on Zoom and give you real-time cues, not just generic instructions.
  • Focus on Lifestyle Ailments: Most of us spend too much time at a desk. My sequences are designed to counter stiffness with targeted stretches for back pain and 'text-neck'.
  • Beyond the Mat: We talk about breathwork (Pranayama) and how to carry that sense of calm into your workday or personal life.

If you are worried about not being 'good enough' or falling over, good. That is the point. We laugh, we reset, and we try again. My 1-on-1 sessions are deeply customized for this, taking into account your injuries and health history so you can build strength without the anxiety. Whether you are in Bengaluru or abroad, grab your mat and let's start.

Hi, I’m Nidhi. When I’m not practicing law, you’ll find me on my mat—or trying to balance my love for yoga with my love for cheese. My teaching is simple: no judgment, just steady practice, breath, and a bit of laughter when we mess up.
