About More From My Practice
Consistency is the biggest challenge for my students, and my personal practice is built on small, realistic wins rather than perfect sessions. Whether I am flowing through an evening routine or taking five minutes for pranayama, these habits help me stay balanced. You do not need to chase perfection, just show up for yourself, even for ten minutes a day.
My mat is my sacred space, but it is not just about the big poses you see on social media. It is about the quiet morning rituals and the discipline to show up when you do not feel like it. I believe in 'Yoga se sab Hoga' (Everything is possible with yoga), but that requires patience.
Practical Habits for Your Practice
I often get asked how I keep my practice clean and consistent. One simple habit I swear by is making my own natural mat cleaner using white vinegar and essential oils like lemongrass and lavender. It is a small act of care that respects the space I practice in.
Finding Your Flow
If you are just starting or getting back on the mat, do not worry about holding the perfect headstand. Focus on your breath. If you are dealing with a busy schedule, my routine often involves quick flows I can do in fifteen minutes. I teach these same techniques to my students—modifying asanas to fit your current strength, injuries, or life stage. Whether it is Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, or simple breathwork, the goal is always the same: to connect with your Higher Consciousness and find a bit of 'Sabr aur Shukr' (patience and gratitude) in your day.
