Build Strength and Flexibility with Mat Yoga
Start your fitness journey here. We focus on getting the basics right with Hatha, Vinyasa, and prop-based posture correction for all ages in Paschim Vihar.
I always say that yoga is the origin of all exercise. Here, my students are clearing their basics by practicing foundational movements like Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) on a soft mattress, ensuring they build strength and flexibility safely.
We use props to take our practice to the next level. In this session, you can see students using yoga wheels and blocks to deepen their stretches, improve alignment, and safely work towards more advanced postures.
About this collection
We do not just ask you to hold a pose. We use yoga wheels and blocks to help you actually feel the stretch and correct your alignment, especially if you are dealing with a desk-job hunch or stiff back. It is about doing the asana right, not just doing it, so you build long-term strength without the risk of injury.
I see many people struggle with posture due to long hours at desks or staring at screens. That is why our Mat Yoga sessions at the Paschim Vihar studio are not about rushing through sequences. Whether it is Hatha, Vinyasa, or Iyengar-style work, we emphasize the foundation. If your basics are shaky, your practice will be too.
We use props like yoga wheels and blocks not because they look cool, but because they bridge the gap between where your body is today and where it needs to be. For example, if your back is stiff, a block gives you the support to perform a pose properly rather than straining. It is the same logic I used in my previous life as a CA—you need the right tools and methodology to get the right result.
Our classes are a mix of ages and levels. You will find students working on foundational movements like Chakrasana and Vrikshasana alongside those doing dynamic cardio drills. We keep it real—no quick fixes. We combine asanas with pranayama and meditation because health is a holistic approach. If you are looking to fix back pain, improve your flexibility, or just start a consistent routine, this is where you build your roots.
Yogiks Yoga
Namaste, I am Madhulika. I swapped my CA spreadsheets for a yoga mat eight years ago because I realized health needs a holistic approach, not quick fixes. My studio in Paschim Vihar is more like a family where we focus on getting your basics right—whether you are 7 or 70.
