My Yoga Journey: 10 Years of Real Transformation
Yoga is not about perfect poses; it is about the life you build on and off the mat. My practice has evolved from shaky beginnings to a source of strength, especially through the challenges of motherhood.
This picture is from the very first yoga class I ever taught, with students from PES University. It was the start of a 10-year journey that shaped my life.
A picture from 10 years ago. From shaky beginnings to a rooted presence, yoga has taught me so much about myself.
Another memory from my early days of practice. This journey has been about showing up for myself, on and off the mat.
Practicing Navasana (Boat Pose) years ago. It's amazing to look back and see how my practice and my understanding of the asanas have deepened over time.
From a 9-to-5 job to working on my own terms, from being overweight to shedding the fat. The one technique that helped me transform is self-hypnosis, which is the practice of complete immersion in your goal.
I move not to perform, but to feel. This is my practice now, rooted in intentional living and mindful movement, from a simple plank pose to a quiet moment of reflection.
This is my face when I'm offered refined sugar. My journey has taught me to be loyal to what serves my body and to lovingly say no to what doesn't.
About this collection
I didn't start with perfect balance or complex flows. For a long time, my practice was just showing up for ten minutes, even on the days I felt like a total mess. That consistency, rather than perfection, is the only thing that actually changed my life and helped me find my way back to myself after becoming a mom.
My journey began ten years ago at PES University, where I walked into my first class feeling unsure and a bit shaky. Back then, yoga felt like something I had to perform correctly. It took years, a career transition from a 9-to-5 job, and the life-altering experience of becoming a mother to realize that yoga is not about how the pose looks—it is about how it makes you feel.
After delivery, my brain chemistry shifted. I had to learn how to be kind to my body again, even when simple things like headstands felt scary. I stopped chasing aesthetics and started focusing on sustainability. This realization birthed my current approach: merging asana with self-hypnosis and mindful living. I don’t believe in crash diets or strict, joyless rules. I believe in practicing sahi tareeke se (the right way) so you can actually enjoy the movement.
Whether you are a beginner looking to understand your body, a new mother trying to heal postpartum, or someone struggling with PCOS, my programs are built on the lessons I learned in those ten years. We cover:
- Fat Loss & Hormone Reset: A 12-week program combining diet recipes, mindset coaching, and targeted movement.
- Postpartum Recovery: Gentle, safe practices to help you reconnect with your core.
- Mindful Eating: Learning to nourish yourself without the guilt.
My classes are live and interactive, not pre-recorded, because I want us to practice in real-time. If you are ready to show up for yourself—even for just ten minutes a day—you are already doing it.

I am Preeti. I don't teach yoga to make you look good for a photo. I teach it because after a decade of practice and navigating motherhood, I know that showing up is the only real magic. Let's practice, breathe, and actually feel better, together.
