Chakra Balancing & Energy Healing: A Mindful Approach
Move beyond physical postures. We use pranayama and chakra-focused asanas to unblock your energy channels, manage stress, and find genuine inner balance.
A tutorial on the technique for Nadi Shuddhi, or alternate nostril breathing. I explain the proper hand mudra (Vishnu Mudra) and how to keep your spine aligned for this powerful energy-cleansing practice.
Why should we slow down our breath? Ancient yogis observed that slow-breathing animals live longer. Slow breathing activates our rest-and-digest system, improves heart health, and reduces stress.
Feeling a lack of love, compassion, or hope? It could be a blockage in your Anahata (Heart) Chakra. This video explains how heart-opening asanas like Ustrasana (Camel Pose) can bring this energy center into balance.
If you feel self-destructive or arrogant, your Manipura (Solar Plexus) Chakra might be imbalanced. This fire-element chakra governs our personal power. Poses like Navasana (Boat Pose) help bring it into balance.
If you find yourself easily addicted or struggling with relationships, your Swadhisthana (Sacral) Chakra may be imbalanced. This water-element chakra is tied to creativity and sensuality.
Feeling insecure or caught up in matters of money? This suggests your Mooladhara (Root) Chakra is out of balance. This earth-element chakra is our foundation of stability and security.
Here is a simple yet powerful asana, Supported Supta Baddha Konasana, that you can practice every night. It's wonderful for opening your hips, relaxing the pelvis, and naturally balancing hormones.
About this collection
Most students try to force their breathing, but the true benefit of Nadi Shuddhi (alternate nostril breathing) comes from a gentle, consistent flow. In my sessions, I teach you the correct hand mudras and how to align your spine so your nervous system can truly shift into a rest-and-digest state, rather than just going through the motions.
Yoga for the subtle body isn't about how flexible your hamstrings are; it is about how you manage your inner energy. When we look at the seven chakras, we aren't just looking at concepts—we are looking at where you might be holding stress. For example, if you find it hard to express love or feel blocked, we look at the Anahata (Heart) Chakra and use Ustrasana to open the chest. If you feel indecisive or lack personal power, we work on the Manipura (Solar Plexus) Chakra using core-engaging poses like Navasana.
Why Practice This Way
- Breath is Medicine: We focus on pranayama techniques like Nadi Shuddhi to cleanse your energy channels, or nadis. This is about balancing your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
- Real-Time Guidance: These aren't pre-recorded videos where you might get the alignment wrong. We practice live. I watch you, give verbal cues, and show you the sahi tareeke se (the right way) to breathe and move.
- Consistency over Intensity: You don't need two hours of sweating. You need 10 or 15 minutes of dedicated practice. When you show up, I am there with you to ensure you aren't pushing your body into injury but rather into healing.
Whether you are a beginner learning your first mudra or someone looking to deepen their practice with complex pranayama, this space is built to help you connect with your strength. We balance the physical asana with the emotional release that comes from finding your breath.
