Practicing Prana Mudra in the mountains connects me to the life force of the universe. I teach these ancient breathwork and meditation techniques to help you awaken your own dormant energy and find a deep sense of inner peace and confidence.

Here I am, completely in my element, surrounded by nature. This is the grounded, joyful energy I bring to our sessions. I am a farm girl at heart, and I believe in finding happiness in the simple, beautiful moments of life.

In my sessions, whether online or at my Chattarpur studio, we focus heavily on somatic release. I use manual adjustments and specific asana flows to target where you store emotional stress—typically the hips and spine—rather than just pushing for physical flexibility. This is about emptying your vessel so you have space for new experiences.

My approach to yoga is less about achieving the perfect pose and more about finding steadiness in a chaotic world. When you join my sessions, you will find a practice that bridges the gap between your physical body and your emotional health. We do not just perform asanas; we explore breathwork (pranayama) and meditation to calm the nervous system, especially if you are dealing with anxiety or chronic stress.

Where We Practice

I work out of my studio in Chattarpur, which is designed to be a quiet sanctuary away from the city noise. For those who cannot make it in person, I offer the same level of personalized guidance through virtual sessions. These online classes are structured to be as interactive as in-studio work, ensuring you get clear cues and corrections. Whether it is a 1-on-1 mentorship or a group class, my priority is ensuring you feel safe to explore your limits without injury.

The Holistic Process

My wellness philosophy is built on three pillars: release, build, and integrate. We start by releasing what is stuck—using hip openers and deep tissue holds to discharge nervous system energy. Then, we build strength, not just in your muscles, but in your mental focus. Finally, we integrate these practices into your daily life. I believe in practical, simple changes—like a 10-minute morning routine—that help you carry the peace of the yoga mat into your everyday life. I’m Manikarnika. I split my time between teaching yoga in Delhi and hosting mountain retreats at my family farm in Shimla. I am the teacher who will challenge you in a Vinyasa flow, but I am also the one who loves a good laugh and a quiet moment with nature.
