Teaching a yoga workshop in Thailand was an incredible experience. Here, I'm explaining the nuances of alignment to a student. My group sessions are interactive, ensuring everyone understands the principles behind the postures for a safe and effective practice.
Every body is different, and my hands-on adjustments are tailored to each individual's needs. During this workshop in Thailand, I'm helping a student find more depth in a seated forward bend, respecting her body's limits while encouraging release and flexibility.
About Group Sessions & Workshops
In my group sessions in Vikaspuri, I limit batches to 10-15 students. This is a deliberate choice because you cannot learn alignment if you are just following a video or getting lost in a crowd. I personally provide hands-on adjustments during these classes to ensure you are safe and actually moving with intention, not just checking boxes on a pose list.
Why Small Group Sessions Matter
Yoga is a journey you take with your body, but doing it in a community can shift your perspective. In my Vikaspuri studio, I keep the batches intimate. When there are only a few people in the room, I can see exactly how you breathe, where your shoulders hunch, or why your lower back feels tight. It allows me to move beyond general instructions and help you with individual modifications using props like blocks or chairs.
The Learning Environment
We don't do 'showy' yoga here. Whether we are practicing Hatha for alignment, Power yoga for strength, or restorative sessions for deep relaxation, the focus is always on your inner state. You will find that these sessions include:

Retreats and Deep Dives
Sometimes, to truly understand the practice, you need to step out of your daily routine. My international retreats, like those I have led in Thailand, are an extension of the work we do in the studio. We spend time in nature, practicing daily asana, meditation, and mindful living. It is a way to hit the reset button on your system and return to your life with more clarity.
