Feeling unsure where to begin? This collage shows four fundamental, beginner-friendly yoga poses like the seated spinal twist and bridge pose that we guide you through in our introductory classes.
Your first class is about presence, not perfection. This series of images shows the progression of a simple flow, reminding you that it doesn't matter if you can touch your toes, only that you show up for yourself.
This video debunks two common myths about yoga. We show that you don't need to be flexible to start, and that yoga offers dynamic, energetic styles, not just slow movements.
This chart clarifies common myths versus facts about yoga. It explains that flexibility is a result, not a requirement, and that even 20 minutes a day can bring noticeable changes.
Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or body type. This image busts the myth that you need to be flexible or are aiming only for weight loss, reinforcing our inclusive approach.
This graphic shares essential tips for a balanced practice, such as focusing on breath, starting slow, and using props. These are the core principles we teach in our beginner sessions to ensure a safe and effective practice.
"Yoga is not about touching your toes, it's about what you learn on the way down." This image of a practitioner in Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) at our studio embodies our philosophy of focusing on the journey, not just the destination.
"Yoga is the practice of tolerating the consequences of being yourself." This image of a student using a block for support in Parsvakonasana (Side Angle Pose) highlights our belief in using tools to meet your body where it is.
"Yoga is not about self-improvement, it's about self-acceptance." This powerful image of a man holding a challenging arm balance outdoors reflects our core belief that yoga is a journey of accepting and working with your body.
About Your First Step into Yoga
You don’t need to be flexible to walk into our Greater Noida studio. In our beginner batches, we limit class sizes to 10-15 students to ensure our trainers can provide hands-on alignment corrections. You will use blocks and straps from day one, not because you lack ability, but to safely support your body while you build strength and mobility at your own pace.
Debunking the Flexibility Myth
Many people avoid yoga because they think they need to be flexible or fit to start. This is the biggest myth we see. Yoga is not about how far you can bend, but how you breathe while you move. Our beginner sessions focus on foundational Hatha and Vinyasa flow, using modifications to make every pose accessible, regardless of your starting point.
How We Support You
Whether you join us at our Alpha I or Jaypee Greens studio, or prefer live virtual sessions, the experience is consistent. We prioritize safety through small group dynamics. This prevents the feeling of being lost in a crowd and allows us to provide real-time verbal cues for posture correction. We focus on building a sustainable practice that fits your specific body type and schedule.
Why Props Are Essential
We integrate the use of yoga blocks and straps into every beginner flow. These tools help you maintain structural integrity in poses like Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) or Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend). They allow you to reap the benefits of the pose without straining your muscles, making the practice safer and more effective.
What To Expect
Your first few sessions will focus on waking up stiff joints, understanding your breath-to-movement ratio, and learning the basics of Pranayama (breath control). The goal is to leave feeling balanced and calm, not exhausted. We welcome everyone, from busy professionals needing a desk-yoga break to seniors looking for gentle movement.
Aarav Yoga
We started Aarav Yoga because we were tired of seeing people intimidated by fancy poses and flexible models. Our goal is simple: we want to make yoga a quiet, consistent breather in your day, regardless of your fitness level or age.
