Family Yoga and Bonding Sessions in Delhi
My sessions are not about holding the perfect pose. We use games, stories, and partner exercises to help families and children breathe, move, and bond right here in my Panchsheel Park studio.
A glimpse into our parent-child yoga workshop on International Yoga Day. We explored partner poses that build trust and connection. Family yoga is all about sharing laughter and creating beautiful memories together on the mat.
What a wonderful group of families celebrating International Yoga Day with me! Seeing parents and children practicing side-by-side fills my heart. This is what community and family bonding through yoga looks like.
About Family Yoga: Connect & Play
If you are looking for a way to get your kids away from screens, this is it. In my studio, we do not do rigid routines. We turn poses into animal adventures and games to help your child focus while you actually connect. It is a space where laughter and playful movement matter way more than getting the asana exactly right, theek hai?
My Approach to Family Yoga
I believe that yoga should feel like play. Whether it is a small group class for children or a parent-child workshop, the goal is always the same: to create a space where you can let go of daily stress and just be present with each other. We use storytelling to teach poses, which helps kids engage with movement without feeling like they are in a structured class.
What to Expect in Sessions
- Kids Yoga & Mindfulness: These 60-minute sessions are held in small batches of 5-8 children. We use animal-inspired asanas and simple breathing exercises to boost concentration and help kids regulate their emotions.
- Parent-Child Workshops: These 75-90 minute sessions are designed for you to practice together. We focus on partner poses, trust games, and shared relaxation. It is a wonderful way to build non-verbal communication and create shared memories.
Practical Details
My studio in Panchsheel Park is a boutique, air-conditioned space with wooden flooring, so you do not need to bring a thing. I provide all necessary props like sanitized mats, bolsters, and blocks for safety.
If you have a busy schedule, remember that consistency is key. We work on a twice-weekly schedule for group batches, ensuring your child gets the repetition needed to see benefits like better focus and physical coordination. If you have questions about specific poses or just want to know if a batch is right for your child, please reach out.
