Yoga is more than just poses. Let’s clear your sinuses, calm your mind, and find your flow with simple, safe breathing and cleansing techniques that actually work. Sabke liye hai!

This video shows how to perform Jalneti, or nasal cleansing. It looks strange, but it's a very effective way to clear your sinuses and breathe more freely.

This is Rubber Neti, a more advanced cleansing technique using a rubber catheter. It helps to clear blockages in the nasal passages. I guide all my students through this safely.

Performing eye cleansing exercises with special eye cups. This practice, called Netra Shuddhi, helps to soothe tired eyes and improve vision.

A closer look at the eye cleansing cups. This is a gentle and refreshing practice, especially if you spend a lot of time on screens.

A student practicing Nadi Shodhan, or alternate nostril breathing. This pranayama is excellent for balancing the nervous system and reducing anxiety.

This is Bhramari Pranayama, or the bee breath. The humming sound is incredibly calming for the mind and helps to release tension.

Kapalbhati, or the skull shining breath. This is an energizing pranayama that cleanses the respiratory system and awakens the mind.

Practicing Garuda Arms, or Eagle Arms, in a seated position. This is a great stretch for the shoulders and upper back, and helps to focus the mind.

Chanting the beej mantra 'Ham' for the throat chakra. Sound vibration is a powerful tool in yoga for balancing our energy centers.

Chanting 'Yam', the beej mantra for the heart chakra. Placing a hand on the heart helps you feel the vibration and connect with this energy center.

About Pranayama & Shatkarma: Breathe & Cleanse

Many people feel nervous about techniques like Jalneti or Rubber Neti, but don't worry. In our 1-on-1 sessions, I break these down step-by-step so you can clear your sinuses and breathe freely without any stress. It’s not just for yogis; it’s a simple, effective tool to handle Delhi’s dust and keep your respiratory system happy.

More than just breathwork

Pranayama is not just about holding your breath or sitting still. It’s about managing your energy levels. Whether you are dealing with anxiety or just need to focus, we use specific flows like Nadi Shodhan (alternate nostril breathing) to balance your nervous system or Bhastrika to wake up your body.

Why practice Shatkarma?

Think of Shatkarma as a deep clean for your respiratory system. Jalneti is excellent if you have sinus issues or allergies, which is common if you live in a busy city. It might look a little strange at first, but once you try it, you will feel the difference in how you breathe throughout the day.

How we work together

  • Safe Guidance: I walk you through every step live on video. You are never left to figure it out alone.
  • Customized for You: We don't just follow a generic plan. If you are struggling with a specific issue like congestion or stress, we adjust the pranayama exercises to target that.
  • Clear Instructions: I keep it simple. If a technique has a Hindi name, I explain what it does in plain English so you know exactly why we are doing it.

Everything we do is designed to be beginner-friendly. You do not need to be a yoga expert to start clearing your mind and cleaning your nasal passages. Let’s connect and see which techniques work best for your body.
