With my yogic family during our studio's second anniversary. Here we are in a headstand variation, demonstrating unity and shared strength.
Yoga doesn't only mean bending. It also means keeping the head, neck, and spine straight and erect, as seen in this meditative pose. This is the foundation of our practice.
Acro in the air. Combining aerial silks with Acro Yoga for a supported and playful lift.
A beautiful moment from our group performance. The focus and grace of my students make me incredibly proud.
Another shot from our group performance, creating a beautiful multi-armed goddess shape. This represents our collective strength and unity.
About Our Sacred Studio & Community
The studio in Sanpada is designed to be more than just a place to roll out a mat. It is a quiet space with wooden flooring and air conditioning that stays cool even when our group practice intensifies, making it easier to hold postures or settle into deep meditation without distraction.
Yoga is often a personal journey, but here, it grows into something communal. My studio in Sanpada is built around the idea of a 'yogic family'—a group of practitioners who support each other through the challenges of inversions, the discipline of breathwork, and the quiet moments of sound healing. Whether you are coming for Hatha Yoga or to try an Aerial flow, the space is set up to foster that connection.
The physical studio is designed for focus. We have a prominent mural of Lord Shiva, creating an atmosphere that feels sacred rather than like a standard gym. The flooring is wood to support joint health during standing poses, and the room is air-conditioned, which is a significant help in our Mumbai weather when you are working on intense spinal traction or arm balances.
You will find practitioners here at all stages of their journey. Some are working on basic Hatha alignments, while others are integrating aerial silks into their practice. This mix is intentional. Seeing someone hold a challenging headstand beside someone just starting their journey is the heart of what we do. It normalizes the process of showing up, day after day, regardless of your starting point.
If you are curious about how we bridge the gap between intense physical work and deep relaxation, the best way is to drop in for a session. We keep the groups limited so that everyone gets the space and attention they need to practice safely.
