About Mindful Moments & Our Philosophy
When you walk into our Shalimar Bagh studio, you will not find aggressive workout culture. You will find props like yoga wheels and stability balls being used to help someone work through chronic pain, or a group circle simply sharing space after a long week. This is a place where we trade performance for presence, and where every body is genuinely welcomed as a yoga body.
I built this studio because I needed a space that felt like home. My journey from a childhood of movement to creating this sanctuary has been about more than just fitness. It has been about gathering a 'Yoga Gang' where we can rise by lifting each other.
The Philosophy of Our Practice
We believe that true healing begins from within. That is why our sessions blend traditional practices with modern accessibility. Whether we are chanting 'OM' to align our body, mind, and spirit, or using wooden sticks and pilates bars to correct posture, the focus is always on your individual needs. We treat breathwork as your most accessible tool for anxiety, teaching you that a simple long exhale can signal safety to your nervous system when the world feels too loud.
Why We Use Props
If you have ever felt intimidated by traditional yoga, our prop-based approach is for you. By using yoga wheels, straps, and stability balls, we make difficult postures accessible. These tools provide the support you need to build strength, release spinal tension, and improve flexibility, regardless of your starting point.
Our Community
Our studio is not a gym. It is a space for celebration and shared experiences, from full moon ceremonies where we align our chakras, to specialized ice bath workshops for a nervous system reset. You are not just signing up for a class; you are joining a community that believes in consistency, gratitude, and showing up for yourself, even on the days you do not feel like it.
