Kickboxing and MMA Training in Mumbai
Build your foundation with real MMA and kickboxing techniques. Whether you want to master the jab, improve your fitness, or learn street-smart defense, we focus on the core movements that actually work.
The straight punch, or jab and cross, is the foundation of boxing. I teach you how to generate power from your hips and shoulders for a fast, effective strike.
The hook punch is a powerful weapon in kickboxing. I explain the three different ways to throw a hook and how to use your hip turn to generate maximum force.
The uppercut is a devastating punch in close range. I show you how to use your legs and squat to generate power from the ground up for a perfect uppercut.
Defense is just as important as attack. Here are some basic kickboxing defensive movements, using squats and sideways motion to slip punches and stay safe.
The knee strike is one of the three most important kicks in kickboxing. I demonstrate the correct way to grab an opponent and drive your knee for maximum impact.
The front push kick, or thrust kick, is great for keeping an opponent at a distance. I teach you how to lift your knee and push with your toes to stop an advancing attacker.
The roundhouse kick is a powerful striking technique. I show you how to execute it correctly, targeting the legs, ribs, or head while maintaining your balance.
Here is a detailed breakdown of the hook punch. I explain the technique in Hindi to make it easy for everyone to learn this basic kickboxing skill.
Pad work is essential for developing speed, power, and combinations. Here I am training a student, calling out different strikes like the jab, elbow, and superman punch.
This is a technical sparring session focusing on timing and focus. It's not about power, but about touching and reacting, which builds reflexes and fight IQ.
About Kickboxing & MMA: Build Your Foundation
Most gyms teach you how to hit the air, but here we focus on the physics of the punch. Notice how I teach you to pivot your hip with every strike? That rotation is the difference between an arm punch that tires you out and a fight-ending strike that generates power from the ground up.
When you join my XFF group classes, we don't just workout. We train to fight. The foundation of any strike—be it a jab, cross, or roundhouse kick—is never just in the arm or leg. It starts in your stance and flows through your hip.
The XFF Foundation
- Hip Rotation: Every punch I teach, especially the cross and the hook, relies on your core. If your hip isn't turning, you are losing power. We drill this until it is muscle memory.
- Defensive Habits: Many beginners drop their guard the moment they throw a punch. I drill the 'chin-down, hands-up' habit until it is automatic. You won't leave my dojo without knowing how to slip a punch or check a kick.
- Pad Work: We use focus pads not to make noise, but to test your timing and accuracy. You learn to chain combinations, mixing head strikes with body shots.
Why This Works for You
Whether you are training for a competitive MMA match or just want to get fit, these fundamentals keep you safe. You learn to control your distance, manage your breath, and stay calm under pressure. My students come from across Mumbai, but they all learn the same principle: technique beats raw strength every time. If you are ready to stop guessing and start training properly, come to the dojo. We will fix your form, sharpen your reflexes, and get you fight-ready.
