About Boxing & Striking Fundamentals
Forget air-conditioned, silent gyms where you just stare at a screen. Here, the energy is raw and communal. We train in semi-outdoor spaces, which means you will be working through the humidity, but you will also be surrounded by a group of people who are there to sweat as hard as you. If you are here for technique, you will get it, but be ready for the battle ropes and tire flips between rounds—it is not just about the jab, it is about the full-body conditioning that makes you a fighter.
The Ground 'N' Pound Approach
We do not believe in cookie-cutter gym routines. Our boxing and striking fundamentals are built around the concept of 'Ground 'N' Pound'—a mix of MMA striking basics, HIIT, and functional fitness. You aren't just standing in front of a mirror throwing air punches. You are working on speed with focus mitts, power on heavy bags, and agility with footwork drills that actually simulate a fight scenario.
What a Session Looks Like
Expect 60 to 75 minutes of high-intensity work. We start with technical instruction—stance, guard, and punch mechanics like the Jab, Cross, Hook, and Uppercut. But we quickly move into conditioning. You will be swapping gloves for battle ropes, or doing tire flips and sledgehammer slams. This keeps your heart rate high and ensures you are burning fat while learning to fight.
