Proof that our students have serious talent. From wonky-but-wonderful mugs to porcelain playing cards, these pieces were all made right here in our 'Luru studio.

The iconic boob mug! These are a signature creation from one of our talented students and always a conversation starter. We love seeing such bold and fun ideas come to life.

A collection of student-made mugs, each with its own unique personality. This one features beautiful sprig work inspired by South Indian temple architecture.

How adorable are these hand-painted cup and saucer sets? The delicate floral patterns make them almost too pretty to use.

A stunning sgraffito mug with a leaf pattern. The artist gets into a total trance while carving these, and the results are just breathtaking.

Simple, elegant, and perfectly imperfect. These speckled white mugs are a testament to the beauty of minimalist design.

The "kangaroo mug" with a little pocket for your tea bag. Our students come up with the most creative and functional designs!

A beautiful mug with a drippy, layered glaze effect. Experimenting with glazes is one of the most exciting parts of the pottery process.

Another look at the beautiful "Bangalore skies" tumblers. The soft, blended colors perfectly capture the look of a cloudy day in 'Luru.

A student showing off the incredible translucency of a porcelain playing card. We might have peer-pressured her into using porcelain, but the result was totally worth it!

Building a house of cards with actual ceramic cards. This project was so unique and pushed the boundaries of what you can do with clay.

About Our Students' Awesome Creations

Everything you see here started as a lump of clay. We guide you through the process, but the personality—the sarcasm on a mug, the intricate leaf patterns, the kangaroo pockets—that is all our students. Whether it is your first time or your fiftieth, the goal is not just a perfect pot; it is making something that actually feels like yours.
