About Your Beautiful Creations: Student Masterpieces
Each masterpiece you see here undergoes a slow, careful process. After you finish your creation, it needs time to dry, followed by a round of bisque firing, careful glazing, and a final glaze firing. It is a 3 to 4-week journey from our studio to your home, which is necessary to ensure your piece is waterproof, food-safe, and built to last. 🤎
Pottery is truly a practice in patience. When you join us at our Jeevan Bima Nagar studio, you aren't just making an object; you are working through a transformation. Many of these student pieces began during our Beginner's Clay Discovery Workshop, where students learn to center clay on the electric wheel for the first time.
Whether it is the wobbly bowl from a first-time student or the intricate, textured sculptures from our 10-day course, each item carries the story of its maker. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of wheel throwing and hand-building—pinching, coiling, and slab work—so that you have the freedom to create whatever you imagine. We handle all the technical details, including the trimming, glazing, and kiln firing, so all you have to focus on is the joy of the craft.
We love seeing our students explore different techniques. You will find examples here of everything from functional stoneware mugs and vases to experimental clay art. If you are ready to get your hands dirty and make something of your own, we have a space at the wheel waiting for you.
