Pottery Classes and Creative Studios
Welcome to our second home. We are all about messy hands, spinning wheels, and the joy of creating something real in the middle of 'Luru.
Come get your hands dirty with us! This is where the magic starts, with a lump of clay and a spinning wheel. We'll guide you through every step, from a wobbly first try to a piece you'll be proud of.
Ready to dive in? Our wheel throwing classes are where it's at. We run weekend and weekday batches for total newbies and folks who already know their way around clay. All the deets are on our site!
It's all in the details. Here's a peek at our Mishima workshop, where you learn to carve and inlay intricate designs. It’s super satisfying to see your patterns come to life.
Look what our students make! These gorgeous tumblers are inspired by our very own 'Luru skies. This is what happens when you mix a little clay with a lot of creativity.
Not a wheel person? No problem. Our hand-building and sculpting sessions are where you can create anything you can imagine, like this awesome hand sculpture taking shape.
We told you our students are crazy talented. Someone actually made a full set of porcelain playing cards. Yes, you can feel all boujee playing rummy with these. OOF!
This is the main event! GLAZED is our annual student exhibit where we celebrate all the incredible work made in the studio. It's a huge party, and you're invited to see the amazing results.
About this collection
Most people land here looking for that perfect mug, but the real magic is the two-week waiting game while we fire your piece at 1200 degrees. Whether you are trying the wheel for the first time or deep in a hand-building project, our studio is all about the mess—and trust us, the clay is going to get everywhere. Grab a spot if you are ready to actually create, not just watch.
We do not do 'perfection' here. If you are coming to Trayah, be ready to get your hands dirty, ruin a few bowls, and laugh about it. Our studio in Koramangala is a space to learn the craft without the pressure.
Our 16-session flexi-course covers the whole spectrum, from centering clay on the wheel to the chemistry of glazes. If you need a shorter commitment, our one-day workshops are the best way to get a taste of Mishima or Sgraffito techniques without signing your life away.
We handle all the technical stuff, like glazing and firing, so you just show up, create, and collect your finished work two weeks later. Whether you are a total beginner or looking to master the wheel, our community is all about the process. We are firm believers that the best pieces are the ones with a story behind them.
Trayah Pottery
We are the team at Trayah. Our studio in Koramangala is less of a classroom and more of a neighborhood hangout where we teach, make, and hang out with our Diamond Dogs crew. We are here to help you get messy and make stuff you are actually proud of.
