Watch the satisfying process of a student creating a donut-shaped vase on the wheel. Our classes teach you the techniques to bring even your most unique ideas to life.
About Get on the Wheel: Pottery Courses
Our 16-session course is designed for your messy, busy life. We give you a full three months to complete your classes because life happens, and we want you to actually enjoy the process without staring at a clock. You get dedicated time on the wheel, plenty of studio practice, and a community of folks who are just as thrilled to get clay on their aprons as you are.
We don't do classroom vibes. At Trayah, our 16-session flexi-course is about getting comfortable with the wheel. You will spend 12 sessions mastering centering, pulling walls, and shaping cylinders, followed by 2 sessions of hand-building to break the monotony, and 2 sessions dedicated entirely to the chemistry of glazing. Because the studio is open for flexible booking, you aren't tied down to a strict weekly schedule. Use your three-month window to fit pottery in whenever you need that creative hit.
If you are the type who likes to binge-learn, our 12-day intensive bootcamps are exactly what you need to get your hands muddy for 36 hours of instruction plus practice time. We provide all the clay you can recycle and handle the firing so you just have to focus on your pieces. Our studio in Jayanagar is a second home to our Diamond Dogs crew, and whether you are a total beginner or ready to level up, you will find a spot here. We believe that if the clay disagrees with you, that is part of the magic. Come ready to get dirty, learn some new techniques, and maybe make a mess while you are at it.
