Yoga for the Whole Family at Yogdhara
Kids and parents practicing together is rare magic. In our Rohini studio, we swap screens for smiles, using partner poses to help you bond and breathe as a team.

About Yoga for the Whole Family
Yoga for families isn't about perfectly held asanas. It is about the shared silence when you and your child breathe together, or the laughter when a balance pose goes wrong. I use partner stretches and trust drills to help you break down barriers, giving you a space to just be present with each other without the pressure of gadgets or deadlines.
Many parents come to me feeling disconnected from their children. We are so busy that even when we are in the same room, we are mentally miles apart. My parent-child yoga sessions in Prashant Vihar are designed to stop that loop.
The Approach
We start with Trust Drills, which are simple, assisted stretches where you support each other's weight. It changes the dynamic immediately. When you hold your child’s hand in Vrikshasana, you aren't just teaching them balance; you are literally supporting them.
Why It Works
- Shared Resilience: Life is tough. Learning to sit with discomfort or finding calm in a chaotic pose teaches resilience faster than any lecture.
- No Screens, Just Presence: For that hour, the phone stays away. It is just you, them, and the rhythm of your breath.
- Memory Building: These are the moments kids remember. Not the toys, but the time you tried a difficult stretch and laughed when you both fell over.
Practical Details
The sessions are 60 to 75 minutes. I focus on partner-based engagement and synchronized breathing. You leave with 2-3 simple poses you can practice at home together. It is real work, but it is deeply rewarding. Come in for a session, and let's build something lasting.
