About Baby Yoga & Gentle Movement
In our sessions, we don't expect toddlers to hold perfect poses. Instead, we use gentle stretches, singing, and rhythm-based movements to help your child develop body awareness and coordination, all while you build a deep, calming connection through shared physical activity.
Why We Do Yoga Together
For us, baby yoga isn't about fitness regimes or rigid routines. It’s about the 'together' part. Whether we are at our Pitampura studio or our space in Ashok Vihar, the focus is on a shared experience. When your toddler sees you stretching, breathing, and moving, it normalizes the activity and makes them want to participate naturally. It is a beautiful way to introduce physical literacy and flexibility without making it feel like a chore.
What Happens in a Typical Session
We keep our groups small, usually 8 to 12 toddlers, to ensure everyone gets enough space and attention. A typical 75 to 90-minute session includes:
- Rhythmic Movement: We use music and simple songs to guide our stretches, making it fun rather than instructional.
- Partner Poses: We practice simple stretches where you support your little one’s limbs, building trust and physical closeness.
- Calm-Down Routines: We transition from active play to quiet breathing, helping toddlers learn how to self-regulate.
- Safe Environment: Our studios are climate-controlled with specialized foam flooring, so you never have to worry about bumps or scrapes.
A Note for Parents
We know toddlers can be unpredictable. Sometimes they are full of energy, and other times they just want to sit on your lap and watch. That is completely fine. Our goal is to create a space where you don't feel pressure to 'perform' or keep your child perfectly still. We celebrate the messy, the loud, and the quiet moments equally. If you are looking for a place to truly connect with your child while they learn the basics of movement, we would love to have you join us for a trial.
