Bespoke Tableware & Decor: Hand-crafted Stoneware for Your Home
From morning coffee mugs to complete dining sets, I bring the tactile joy of slow-made clay to your table. Each piece is thrown, glazed, and fired with intent.
The wonderful result of a beginner's workshop. This student is proudly showing her first collection of handmade ceramic pieces, including mugs, bowls, and a very creative cat planter.
A custom mug with a story. This piece has a textured, earthy body and a whimsical, hand-sculpted bird handle that seems to be offering a little heart. It makes your morning coffee a bit more magical.
A pair of rustic, three-legged mugs. These are hand-built with a textured, multi-toned glaze and a simple, strong handle. They feel sturdy and comforting to hold.
Showing off the beautiful, unpredictable patterns created by overlapping glazes on a set of cups. The way the colors melt and run together in the kiln means no two cups are ever exactly alike.
A set of two hand-painted ceramic glasses. These feature spontaneous, abstract blue designs on a white background, making each one a unique piece of functional art. They are microwave-safe for your milk or water.
Another view of the hand-painted glasses, showing different floral and bird-like motifs. The beauty is in the imperfection and the free-flowing brushwork.
A close-up of a small bowl from the floral dinner set. The bright, simple flower paintings bring a pop of color and joy. It's perfect for serving sauces, spices, or small snacks.
A dark, textured bowl with a woven pattern carved into the clay. The deep brown glaze breaks over the texture, highlighting the details and giving it a rustic, tactile quality.
A simple tea bowl with a dramatic, dripping glaze. The thick white glaze cracks and pulls over the dark clay body, creating a landscape of texture.
The inside of a finished bowl, where the glaze has pooled into a beautiful, galaxy-like pattern. The way the light catches the crystalline structures is one of the small joys of pottery.
About Bespoke Tableware & Decor
When you commission a custom set, we start with a conversation—not just about size or color, but about the ritual of your morning coffee or the specific weight of the bowl you want to hold. Because every piece is thrown and fired individually in my Delhi studio, your final tableware will have its own unique personality, slightly different from anything else that comes out of the kiln.
There is a quiet rhythm to slow-made pottery. When I work on a commission, I am not just making dishes; I am crafting a daily experience. Whether you need a 4-piece stoneware dinner set for your home or a set of illustrated mugs with sculptural handles, we work together to define the form.
The Process Behind Your Tableware
- Design & Form: We start with your vision. You choose the theme, and I decide on the body style, whether it is a perfectly wheel-thrown shape or an organic, hand-pinched texture.
- Material & Durability: I use high-grade stoneware clay that is vitrified at high temperatures (>1200°C), ensuring your plates, bowls, and mugs are microwave-safe and durable enough for daily use.
- Glazing: This is where the chemistry meets the art. My glazes are food-safe and lead-free. Because I experiment with overlapping layers and kiln temperatures, you might see beautiful variations in color—that is the magic of the process.
Why Choose Bespoke?
"Artist ka matlab hai galti karna" (Being an artist means making mistakes). I embrace the quirks that happen during the firing process because that is where the soul of the work lives. If you are looking for machine-perfect, mass-produced items, this is not that. If you are looking for functional art that feels good in your hands, let us talk. I ship these pieces across India, securely packed to ensure they arrive ready for your table.
