About Custom Tableware & Kitchen Goods
When we design your custom dinnerware, we start by matching glazes to your home's color palette. Because I hand-paint every motif to order and fire each piece individually, please account for a 25 to 30 day production cycle from the moment we finalize your design.
My work bridges the gap between art and everyday function. Whether you are looking for a complete dinner set or a single statement piece for your kitchen, I approach every project as a collaboration.
Functional Stoneware
For dining, I primarily use high-fired stoneware. It is chip-resistant, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe, making it practical for daily use. We can discuss your preference for organic, wavy rims or structured, classic shapes. The design process allows for complete creative freedom, from selecting specific floral motifs to matching colors with your existing dining room decor.
Wellness-Focused Kitchenware
I also specialize in earthenware for specific kitchen tasks. For items like my two-tier sprout makers and curd setters, I prefer using porous terracotta blends. These materials mimic the natural environment of soil, allowing for moisture absorption and airflow that keeps sprouts fresh and helps maintain the natural alkaline balance for fermentation. These pieces are left unglazed on the interior, ensuring the clay retains its health-benefiting properties.
The Process
Each order begins with a conversation about your vision. We define the shape, size, and utility of the object. If you need a custom citrus juicer or a set of serving bowls, we work out the details together. Since each item is hand-built or thrown on the wheel and requires specialized firing, no two pieces are identical. When you receive your order, you are getting something that was touched, formed, and finished by hand, specifically for your shelf.
