The Magic of Raku Firing
Raku is an exciting and unpredictable firing process where pieces are taken from the kiln while red-hot. The thermal shock and reduction in combustibles create dramatic, one-of-a-kind crackle patterns and metallic sheens. This is where fire itself becomes part of the art.
From Clay to Kiln: The Process
