About Custom Pottery Creation
What I Do
Clay is my playground. I love turning ideas into real, touchable things—whether it's a mug that fits just right in your hand or a vase that catches the sunlight just so. Everything I make is a little bit slow, a little bit messy, and always packed with energy.
Bring Your Idea, I'll Bring My Hands
If you've got a vision for a pottery piece—something you just can't get off a shop shelf—I want to hear it. Maybe you want a set of dinner plates with your own pattern, a cat-faced planter, or something totally wild like my 'Erotic Cups'. We sit together, brainstorm, and then I do my thing on the wheel or by hand.
Some Favourites
- Bespoke ceramic tableware like cups with sculptural handles or full dinner sets
- Hand-painted bowls, plates, and custom wheel-thrown mugs
- Big, statement moon jars or quirky vases
- Whimsical planters or one-off sculptural pieces that tell a story
The Making
We start with a chat. I sketch, throw, carve, or hand-build. You get to pick details—carvings, glaze, even special Raku finishes if you want that unpredictable magic.
Real Talk
Nothing here is machine-perfect. Every piece has its own little quirks. Sometimes the glaze runs, sometimes the shape is a bit off—bas wohi toh maza hai (that's the fun part). Artist ka matlab hai galti karna. Nahi toh naya kaise ayega? (Being an artist means making mistakes. Otherwise, how will something new come?).
If you want a piece that feels like it has a soul, let’s make it together.

My Story
We’re The Potter’s Life, but really, it’s me, Suvajit, behind the wheel. Clay called me early in Howrah, West Bengal. Art college in Kolkata, then Santiniketan - that place changed me. Won some awards, yeah, but honestly, nothing beats the feel of clay in my hands. Delhi’s my studio now. Every day, I chase new forms, play with light, and share the joy of clay with folks who drop by. It’s a simple, muddy life.
My Work
Ceramic Studio & Custom Projects - We create custom ceramic pieces, from cups and bowls to unique art. Each order is personal.
Workshops & Classes - Beginner pottery workshops, Horse Hair Raku pottery, and team sessions. No experience needed, just curiosity.
Slowmade Pottery Process - Everything’s made slow, by hand - pinch, slipcast, Raku firing. Fire and clay do their own thing.
Art That Makes You Think - We make functional ware and also art like the erotic cups series, mixing Indian and Korean pottery influences.
