About Fine Art Ceramics
Clay is my language, and every piece I make is a little story. I work slow, making sure each fine art ceramic has its own character and a bit of my joy tucked in. I don't believe in rushing - the real magic happens when you let clay find its own form.
Pushing Limits, Making Mistakes
I experiment a lot. "Artist ka matlab hai galti karna" (Being an artist means making mistakes). That’s how my ‘Erotic Cups’ came about - sculptural stoneware art, with bold handles inspired by the feminine form. Some folks think I’m too old to try new things, but main toh bahut karta hoon (I do it anyway).
My Studio: Playground of Forms
- Moon Jars: Big, round jars inspired by Korean tradition. All about simple, strong shapes and how they play with light.
- Figurative Sculptures: Hand-built ceramic sculptures - jars with human heads, cups with figures clinging, standalone human forms.
- Nature & Abstracts: Delicate clay blossoms, animal forms like Raku-fired horse heads, spiky ornaments, textured glazes.
Fire, Chance, and Technique
Raku pottery techniques keep me hooked. The fire decides the final look - crackled, unpredictable, never the same. Horsehair Raku? That’s where I throw horsehair on hot clay and let it make wild patterns.
Let’s Build Your Vision
I offer unique ceramic commissions - if you have a wild idea for a sculptural piece, let’s talk. I’m always open for new challenges.

My Story
We’re The Potter’s Life, but really, it’s me, Suvajit, behind the wheel. Clay called me early in Howrah, West Bengal. Art college in Kolkata, then Santiniketan - that place changed me. Won some awards, yeah, but honestly, nothing beats the feel of clay in my hands. Delhi’s my studio now. Every day, I chase new forms, play with light, and share the joy of clay with folks who drop by. It’s a simple, muddy life.
My Work
Ceramic Studio & Custom Projects - We create custom ceramic pieces, from cups and bowls to unique art. Each order is personal.
Workshops & Classes - Beginner pottery workshops, Horse Hair Raku pottery, and team sessions. No experience needed, just curiosity.
Slowmade Pottery Process - Everything’s made slow, by hand - pinch, slipcast, Raku firing. Fire and clay do their own thing.
Art That Makes You Think - We make functional ware and also art like the erotic cups series, mixing Indian and Korean pottery influences.
