Step into our dojo to build real-world strength. From traditional makiwara conditioning to functional fitness, we train you for more than just a fight.

This is a look at makiwara training, a traditional method we use for conditioning the hands and developing power. Here, I demonstrate how to properly form a fist for strikes like the reverse fist (Uraken) and the standard fist (Seiken) to build real, functional strength.

We are excited to have Coach Tinsley on our team, leading our Core and Conditioning classes. These sessions are designed to build a stronger core, provide total body conditioning, and finish with deep stretching for a complete workout that builds, burns, and helps you breathe.

Flexibility and mobility are just as important as strength. In our classes, we dedicate time to deep stretches and poses like the wheel pose and headstands to improve your range of motion, aid in recovery, and create a balanced, resilient body.

We believe training should be effective and engaging. This clip shows one of our alternative warmups, a fun drill that builds upper body strength and endurance while fostering teamwork and a positive atmosphere before the main session begins.

The energy after a great training session is unmatched. This is our crew, a mix of dedicated individuals who come together to work hard, learn, and support each other. This is the spirit of The Dojo.

About Featured

We do not do random gym sets here. Every conditioning session starts with mobility work and ends with recovery, following the same disciplined structure as our martial arts training. When you join our conditioning batch, you are not just moving weight, you are learning to move with control, building the core stability required for everything from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to everyday life.
