Why Martial Arts for Kids?

It is not just about punching and kicking. At our Vasant Kunj studio, the kids program is built to foster grit, respect, and physical awareness. We use the same principles of consistency and intensity that we apply to our pro fighters, adapted for a younger crowd.

The Training Environment

Safety is our priority. We train on 30mm EVA foam puzzle mats that provide proper impact absorption for growing joints. We keep the class sizes managed so every child gets proper supervision. Our coaches are active fighters who understand how to break down complex movements into simple, repeatable drills. They know that a kid who understands their own body is a kid who carries themselves with confidence outside the gym.

What They Learn

• Foundation: Basic footwork, stance, and movement patterns.
• Coordination: Drills that challenge their balance and reaction times.
• Self-Defense: Practical techniques based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing, taught to prevent bullying and build situational awareness.
• Discipline: Learning to listen, follow instructions, and respect the training partner.

Common Questions

Is it safe? Yes. We use controlled sparring and focus heavily on technical drills. We do not encourage reckless aggression.

Do they need prior experience? Not at all. We start from zero. Whether your child has never stepped on a mat or has some background, our coaches adjust the pace to help them progress at their own speed.

What gear is needed? We recommend starting with basic hand wraps and gloves. We can guide you on what to buy during your first trial class.
