Yoga isn't about performing for a camera. It is about understanding your body and moving safely. Join us in Jayanagar to learn with proper alignment and direct, personal guidance.

Guiding a student safely into Sirsasana (Headstand). My focus is on teaching the correct entry and exit, which is crucial for building confidence and preventing injury in inversions.

Partner work is a great way to understand alignment. Here, I am assisting a student in learning how to support another in Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, a key skill for a teacher.

Using the wall as a prop is an effective way to build strength for inversions like Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand). I am here to guide the student through each stage of the process.

Holding a headstand for over two minutes is a great achievement. My role is to provide the stability and verbal cues needed for the student to find their balance and hold the pose with confidence.

Every time you want to quit, you must fight for the future you deserve. I am here to provide the support and adjustment needed to help you push past your perceived limits in poses like Eka Pada Sirsasana.

The time to start is now. With careful guidance, we can work on complex poses like Urdhva Padmasana in Sarvangasana, ensuring the spine and neck are protected throughout.

There is no shortcut to a stable headstand. It is all about consistent practice and understanding the alignment. I guide my students to find that stability, one practice at a time.

Assisting a student with leg variations in Sirsasana. These adjustments help build core control and balance, taking the inversion practice to the next level.

A steady hand and a watchful eye. This is how we build trust and help students feel secure as they explore challenging inversions and their variations.

The journey to a stable headstand is a process. We start from the foundation and build up, with support and guidance at every step.

About Hands-On Guidance & Safe Alignment

I don't just teach from the front of the room. My hands-on approach means I am there to physically correct your posture, help you use props like wall ropes and blocks, and ensure you understand how to engage the right muscles. This isn't about looking perfect in a pose; it's about making sure your body is safe and your alignment is correct every single time you step on the mat.

Building a Safe Foundation

Many students come to me after watching videos online, trying to replicate complex poses without understanding the anatomy behind them. This leads to injuries and frustration. At our Jayanagar studio, we strip away the performance aspect of yoga and focus on what actually matters: your alignment.

Why We Use Props

We use wall ropes, belts, blocks, and chairs—the traditional Iyengar-style tools—not because they are trendy, but because they bridge the gap between where your body is today and where it needs to be for a safe practice. Whether you are working on a basic forward fold or exploring inversions like a headstand, these props allow you to hold a pose correctly for longer, building strength and flexibility without straining your joints.

The Teacher's Role

My batches are strictly limited to 10-15 students. This isn't a factory; it's a community. Because the group size is small, I can personally adjust your shoulders in a downward dog or guide your hips in a lunge. You get real-time feedback on your breath and movement. If you have been struggling with a specific pose or recovering from an injury, this level of attention makes all the difference.

Consistent Practice

Yoga is a long-term commitment. There are no shortcuts. When you join us, you are not just signing up for a class; you are committing to a process. We cover Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga basics, ensuring you understand the 'why' behind every movement. If you are ready to stop guessing and start practicing correctly, join us at the studio.
