Forget the shortcuts and the Instagram poses. Our teacher training is 99% practical, focused on giving you the real skills to guide students with clarity, alignment, and confidence.

Here, our TTC student Shalini practices leading a class through a Virabhadrasana (Warrior Pose) sequence. Learning to articulate cues clearly is a fundamental skill we drill in our training.

A key part of our training is practical teaching sessions. Students learn to prepare and lead a class, building the confidence they need to guide others in their own practice in the future.

We are preparing the next generation of yoga teachers. This involves more than just learning poses; it's about understanding how to demonstrate, explain, and correct with clarity and confidence.

Two of our teacher trainees practicing a synchronized flow. This exercise helps them internalize the sequence and rhythm of a Vinyasa class, preparing them to lead with precision.

Usha, at just 15 years old, is already dedicating her weekends to our teacher training. Her commitment to learning how to teach yoga is an inspiration and shows that passion has no age limit.

Our Yoga Alliance registered course is for anyone who is serious about teaching. Whether you are a beginner or have a TTC certificate but lack confidence, we will give you the practical skills to succeed.

This is the result of our training. Pallavi, once a student, is now a confident teacher whose students appreciate her guidance. Seeing our graduates succeed is my greatest joy.

Our students dedicate hours on weekdays and weekends to their training. This is the commitment required to transform from a practitioner into a knowledgeable and skilled yoga teacher.

This is just a glimpse of what we cover. In this clip, I am breaking down a complex transition involving Gomukhasana arms in a balancing pose, showing the level of detail we go into.

About The Art of Teaching: From Student to Instructor

We strictly cap our training at 15 students because teaching yoga is an art that requires personal eyes on you. You will spend 99% of your time on the mat during these sessions, learning to adjust, cue, and sequence classes, rather than just watching me talk from the front of the room.

99% Practical, 100% Real

Most training programs fill your head with theory and leave you unable to teach a single class. My approach is different. This 200-hour course is designed for those who want to transition from a practitioner to an instructor who understands the craft.

What You Will Master

We cover the essentials, but we go deeper into the mechanics of teaching:

  • Alignment & Adjustments: You will learn to use props like blocks and chairs to ensure safety. You'll also learn the art of the 'hands-on' correction, which is vital when guiding beginners.
  • The Art of Cueing: A great teacher knows how to explain a movement so the student understands it without looking. We practice this until your voice is clear and your cues are sharp.
  • Sequencing: You will learn how to build a class that flows logically, from the initial warm-up to the final Shavasana.
  • Philosophy & Anatomy: We cover the basics so you teach safely, but we spend our energy on the 'why' and 'how' of the practice.

The Commitment

This is not a vacation. Whether you choose the weekday intensive or the weekend professional batch at our Jayanagar center, expect to show up and do the work. Consistency is the only bridge between knowing a pose and teaching it.

If you have done a TTC elsewhere and still do not feel confident holding a room, this is where you come to fix that. We are Yoga Alliance (USA) accredited, but more importantly, we are a community that expects you to show up, study, and teach with integrity. Theek hai?

I have been teaching for 13 years, and I still consider myself a student. Yoga is not entertainment; it is a discipline. I built this community in Jayanagar for people who want to stop following trends and start practicing with honesty.
