Collaborative Textile Design & Custom Printing
We partner with artists, designers, and brands to translate unique visions into hand-printed textiles. Whether you are developing a runway collection or creative home decor, we bring your concepts to life through sustainable, heritage-led craftsmanship.
We are honored to present "Karri-djarrk-durrkmirri" (We Together Work), an exhibition of hand-printed textiles blending our heritage techniques with the culturally significant designs of the Bábbarra Women's Centre from Australia.

Our collaboration with the artisans of Bábbarra Designs is a story that continues to unfold. Here, they are selecting historic lino tiles which our artisans will translate into durable teak woodblocks, preserving their craft for a new generation.

This is the story of a Yawkyawk (young woman mermaid) design by artist Janet Marawarr. Her original lino tile is being carefully translated into a woodblock by our carvers, preserving the story for our collaborative textile collection.

About Designer & Brand Collaborations
When we collaborate, we don't just print; we translate. Take our work with the Bábbarra Women’s Centre, where we carefully adapted intricate lino-tile artwork from Indigenous Australian artists into custom-carved teak woodblocks. This was not a standard print job—it required our carvers to interpret the cultural motifs, ensuring the soul of the original design survived the transition to fabric.
Collaboration at our studio is a dance between two creative voices. We see ourselves as a technical partner, not just a service provider, which is why we invite you to be part of every step—from the initial sketching to the final wash.
Our Collaborative Process
- Concept Translation: We start by understanding your vision. Whether you have paper sketches, digital vectors, or existing tile art, our master artisans translate these into hand-carved teak woodblocks. We prioritize retaining the nuance of your original design.
- Sampling & Testing: We believe in honest experimentation. We conduct extensive testing, sampling, and back-and-forth communication until the color palette and pattern registration feel right. This often involves manual color mixing to match Pantone codes or physical swatches.
- Material Expertise: We work exclusively on natural fabrics—silk, linen, velvet, or corduroy. Our team guides you on how different bases interact with our GOTS-certified pigments and natural dyes like Indigo and Madder, ensuring the final output matches your intended end-use, whether that is apparel, home furnishings, or art panels.
Why Partner With Us?
Our studio in Sadashivnagar, Bangalore, is more than a production facility; it is a space for cultural exchange. We have decades of experience maintaining a private archive of vintage wood blocks and have built a reputation for handling complex, multi-layered printing techniques. We work with brands and artists who value the slow, intentional process of hand-block printing. When we take on a project, we commit to the preservation of the craft, ensuring that every meter of fabric produced carries the dedication of our artisan family.
