- Allocation of a full-length padded printing table.
- Dedicated assistance from a studio artisan for pinning and alignment.
- Unlimited organic dyes and fixatives for the full fabric length.
Full Day Service

Teak Block Carving Masterclass
The Craft of Carving
- One block of seasoned high-quality Teak Wood (4x4 to 6x6 inches).
- Use of professional-grade hand-forged steel chisels and files.
- Guidance on design transfer and relief carving techniques.
Printing & Takeaways
- Test prints on scraps to check for precision.
- Final printing of the carved block onto a Canvas Tote Bag.
- Ownership of the hand-carved wooden block.

This isn’t just another craft session - it’s a slice of Bangalore’s heritage in a leafy, peaceful spot away from city noise. My Story
Hey, we’re Tharangini Studio. Our story started in 1977 with Lakshmi aunty, my mom, who built this place by the lake in Bangalore. It’s home, really. Our artisans, some here since day one, now work with their kids. It’s all about passing down skills, keeping it real. We’re woman-owned, everyone’s welcome, and nature’s our neighbor—turtles, flowers, the lot. That vibe runs through everything we do.
My Work
Handblock Printing & Wearable Art - We create bespoke handblock sarees, scarves, and fabrics. Each piece is made slow and with heart.
Eco-Friendly Dyes & Methods - We use organic natural dye textiles, grinding pigments by hand and working with plant resins—no shortcuts.
Heritage Wood Block Motifs - We have a huge archive of vintage wood blocks. Love mixing old motifs with new ideas.
Workshops & Collaboration - We run collaborative textile workshops and enjoy co-creating with designers and artists. Your vision, our craft.
