My Craft & Processes

• Ayurvastra Dyeing: I use natural ingredients like turmeric, pomegranate, and sappanwood. These undergo a 3-step scouring and mordanting process, ensuring color fastness without synthetic chemicals.
• Indigo Fermentation: I maintain live indigo vats to achieve deep, rich blues. This is a slow, traditional process that creates unique, high-contrast Shibori patterns, including stripes, checks, and manual resist techniques.
• Botanical Eco-Printing: This is where I transfer pigments directly from fresh leaves and flowers onto the fabric. Because I use seasonal materials, every batch is one-of-a-kind, offering a look that cannot be replicated by machines.
