About The Block Printing Experience

This is not a sterile classroom environment. You will be working directly alongside our master artisans at our long printing tables, using the same GOTS-certified organic dyes and rare vintage teak blocks we use for our own professional collections. Whether you are bringing a saree to upcycle or printing a canvas tote, you will learn the precise art of block registration and pressure control that transforms a simple fabric into a piece of art.

We introduce the beauty of Bandhani, often called India's own Shibori. This traditional art form creates stunning patterns through a meticulous process of tying and dyeing fabric.7
The name Bandhani comes from the Sanskrit word "bandhana," meaning "to bind." This image shows the delicate, almost translucent quality of a dyed fabric, blending tradition and artistry.
