This is the heart of our story. A first glimpse into the hands-on, heritage-rich experience that awaits you at our studio. Each image and video here has been chosen to convey the magic, skill, and warmth that define our craft and our community.
The Block Printing Experience
This is where you get your hands messy. Our workshops offer direct, hands-on guidance from artisans who have dedicated their lives to this craft, ensuring you learn the authentic techniques and leave with a piece you are proud of. We provide all materials, from fine cotton and silk to our custom-mixed organic dyes.
The Art of Woodblock Carving
Go deeper into the craft by learning to carve your own block. In this specialized workshop, our master carvers, with over 30 years of experience, will guide you as you use hand-forged chisels to bring your own design to life on a piece of seasoned teak wood. This is a rare opportunity to learn a skill practiced by only a few artisans left in Bangalore.
From Nature to Fabric: Our Sustainable Dyes
We believe in a process that is kind to the earth. Our colors are derived from nature, using GOTS-certified organic dyes and traditional ingredients like Indian Madder, Myrobalan, and Indigo. In our workshops, you can learn to forage for botanicals in our garden and transform them into beautiful, earthy prints on fabric.
Our Heritage Block Archive
We are custodians of one of South India’s largest private archives of vintage woodblocks, with over 6000 unique designs collected since 1977. This collection includes rare motifs from Karnataka's history, intricate architectural patterns, and timeless florals and paisleys. In our workshops, you get the special opportunity to print with these pieces of history.

Our Artisan Family & Community
Our studio is more than a workplace; it's a family. We are a women-led studio, and we are deeply committed to our community, partnering with foundations to provide vocational skills to specially-abled artisans. Here, we celebrate the people who are the true custodians of this craft.
Global Connections & Collaborations
Craft is a language that transcends borders. We are honored to have collaborated with a diverse range of international artists, universities, and cultural organizations, from the Bábbarra Women's Centre in Australia to the Fabric Workshop Museum in Philadelphia. These partnerships foster a rich, cross-cultural exchange of skills, stories, and inspiration.
