Our Serene Textile Studio in Sadashivnagar
A tranquil estate by Sankey Tank, where nature meets heritage. This is where our artisans have practiced hand-block printing since 1977, and where you can experience the rhythm of slow, intentional craft.
Our studio, an idyllic place to spend time, as described by a visitor. The building is designed to coexist with nature, with a magnificent tree growing right through the roof.

About Our Serene Studio Space
When you visit, you will notice the roof is built around a large, decades-old tree. We intentionally kept this natural boundary in our architecture because working in harmony with our surroundings is not just a philosophy, it is how we stay grounded in our craft.
We are tucked away in the leafy neighbourhood of Sadashivnagar, right by the quiet waters of Sankey Tank. This location is essential to our identity. Our studio is not a retail showroom. It is a working space where the sound of wooden blocks hitting fabric creates a steady, rhythmic background. We have been here since 1977, and our building has evolved to keep the studio and the nature around it in balance. When you come here for a workshop, you will see turtles and flowers just outside the door. This peaceful environment helps our team, some of whom have been with us for generations, maintain the focus needed for intricate hand-block printing. We believe that craft is a slow process, and the quiet of our estate allows you to step away from the city noise. Whether you are coming to learn traditional carving or to try our organic natural dye sessions, you are entering a space where time works differently. We welcome everyone, from curious beginners to those looking to master a specific technique.
