About Creations from Our Studio
If you are looking to refresh an old Kanjeevaram or want a custom design, we do not just print on new fabric—we specialize in breathing new life into your existing heirlooms. Bring us your natural fiber pieces, and we will guide you through the process of choosing the right vintage block and organic dye combination to transform it into something uniquely yours.
The heart of our work lies in the rhythm of the block against the fabric. Whether it is a breezy Kota saree or an unconventional material like bark cloth, our printing process remains deeply intentional. We are custodians of one of South India's largest archives, with over 6,000 vintage teak wood blocks, and we frequently pull from this library to create something fresh.
Sustainability is not a trend here; it is our foundation. We use GOTS-certified organic dyes and natural resin discharge techniques that are kind to the earth and your skin. We also believe in the beauty of collaboration. Our studio frequently opens its doors to designers and artists, like our project with No Borders Shop where we experimented with rare bark cloth, proving that traditional craftsmanship has a place in modern, statement-making apparel.
If you have a special saree sitting in your cupboard that feels a little dated, bring it to us. Our 'Revive and Renew' approach allows you to overprint vintage silk with contemporary motifs, turning a pre-loved garment into a modern keepsake. It is about honoring the past while making space for your personal style. We handle the process from initial design consultation to final steaming and curing, ensuring the print lasts for years to come.
