About this collection
These retreats are not about ticking off a bucket list. We spend four days at Viveda Wellness Village, where the schedule is built around the idea that silence is as important as the asana. We balance intense morning Mysore practice and anatomy workshops with quiet nature walks and evening kirtans. It is a space where you come as you are, ready to let the noise of city life settle.
We view these getaways as an extension of our shala. You are not just changing your environment, you are changing your rhythm. At Viveda, the surroundings in Trimbakeshwar provide the perfect setting to disconnect and find your center.
What to expect from our time away:
- Intensive Practice: Mornings begin with traditional Mysore-style sessions and Shatkriyas. We move from the superficial layer of the body into deeper biomechanics during our afternoon anatomy workshops.
- Beyond the Mat: We believe that community is a healing force. Our evenings are reserved for Satsang, candle gazing (Tratak), and Kirtan. These moments are where the real work happens—sharing space with like-minded people who are also looking to recalibrate.
- Restorative Environment: The schedule is deliberate. We provide the time you rarely get in the city—to breathe, to walk, and to simply be. All meals are Sattvic, focusing on clean, nourishing fuel for your body as it navigates the intensity of a retreat.
This is for those who are ready to put in the work. If you have been feeling disconnected or just hitting a plateau in your home practice, this is your chance to reset the compass.
Svādhyāya by Devyani
I started Svādhyāya because I wanted a space that felt like a homecoming, not just a studio. These retreats are an extension of that—a few days of focused practice where we leave the city noise behind. Come join me, let's practice and grow.
