Studio Culture and Architectural Process

At Thirdspace, our studio culture is driven by the belief that the quality of our output is inseparable from the rigor of our process. We function not just as a conventional office, but as a laboratory for urbanism and design.

We host regular 'Terrace Talks' where we engage with architectural theory, phenomenology, and the writings of Juhani Pallasmaa. This intellectual curiosity prevents our designs from becoming static. Instead, our projects evolve through constant iterations and a deep understanding of site context.

The studio itself exemplifies our design philosophy. We prioritize natural light, indoor-outdoor connectivity, and the use of humble, effective materials like bamboo. From the Tonga Court Cafe to our roof garden spaces, we build to learn.
