About Interior Design
We see interior design as more than just arranging rooms - it's about making spaces feel honest, alive, and tuned to the people inside. Our work is not about chasing trends, but about giving you spaces that feel right year after year.
What Matters to Us
- We always look for ways to bring in natural light, air, and a sense of openness. Courtyards, skylights, even a simple verandah - these are not just design tricks, they're how we keep spaces breathing.
- Material honesty is big for us. You’ll spot raw concrete, reclaimed wood, and exposed brick in our work. We use what fits best, sometimes even upcycling old elements to give them new life.
- We love letting the outside in. Big glass doors, gardens that run right up to the living room, or balconies that feel like part of the house - all these help blend indoor-outdoor living integration.
- Social spaces matter. Corridors or staircases aren’t just for passing by - they can spark conversation and be the unexpected heart of a home or office.
How We Work
We start by listening. Every project begins with a conversation about your life, the site, and what matters most to you. The process is hands-on and keeps changing till it feels just right. We don’t do cookie-cutter. Each home, office, or public space is a result of back-and-forth, trial and error, and a lot of thought about how you’ll actually live there.
Why We Do This
We want to create spaces that last - not just in how they look, but in how they feel. Our focus on minimalist materials palette and natural light optimization helps us make interiors that stay fresh and practical, even as life changes around them.

My Story
We’re Thirdspace, Praveen and Namrata here. Since 2002, we’ve called Pune and Belagavi home, sketching out ideas in Koregaon Park, under the trees. There was this late-night email in 2019 – not a complaint, but a note from Christopher Benninger, praising the human scale in our hostel project. That message, honest and unexpected, still keeps us going. Our studio’s shaped by moments like that – small things, big meaning.
My Work
What we do - We design architecture, interiors, landscapes, master plans, and restore heritage buildings.
How we think - We look for organic neighbourhood growth patterns, weaving private spaces with gardens and community courtyards architecture.
The Thinking Hand process - Our design process is hands-on and messy – sketches, models, diagrams, whatever it takes to get real.
Types of projects - Private homes, weekend retreats, offices, university arenas, co-living, housing – we like variety.
Restoring old souls - Restoration of Art Deco buildings is our thing. We keep the old soul, just give it a new life.
