About Life at the Studio
When we design a residence or an urban installation, the intern, the project architect, and the lead designer sit at the same table. It is why our physical model-making happens in the heart of the office, not a back room—so every detail, from joinery to light filtration, is debated and refined by everyone on our team.
At SIAN, we don't believe in silos. Our design process relies on the belief that a building is a dialogue between the land, the materials, and the people who will inhabit it. Because of this, our studio is designed to be a workshop—a space where we move between digital rendering and handmade scale models to test how form and stability actually work at a human scale.
Why We Work This Way
Our studio culture thrives on what we call 'beautiful chaos'. A typical week might involve early mornings spent aligning project goals, afternoons dedicated to sketching, and spontaneous brainstorming sessions over lunch. We maintain a hands-on approach to architectural design, whether we are finalizing joinery details for an urban kiosk, coordinating site contractors for a residential project in Noida, or conducting material research in our library.

SIAN Architects
We’re Surbhi and Deepanshu. At SIAN, we are less of a top-down hierarchy and more of a creative collective that believes design is best when it is debated and tested.
