Welcome to Sthiram, a place to find peace and balance. I designed this studio to be an aesthetic and meditative space, reflecting my commitment to your growth and well-being. You can find us in Suncity, Sector 54, Gurgaon.
Sthiram means strength and steadiness. Here, you have the opportunity to learn authentic yogic practices in a consecrated space, using simple tools like neem and turmeric to cleanse the system, just as tradition dictates.
The atmosphere of our studio is set for inner work. With soft lighting and a quiet environment, you can focus entirely on your practice. The space itself is an invitation to stillness, as defined by the sutra: "Yogash chitta vritti nirodhah."

About Our Studio: A Space for Stillness
We avoid synthetic rubber mats here. We use organic cotton mats directly on the floor to maintain the physical connection with the ground, which is essential for the stability and grounding required in the classical practices we teach.
When you walk into our Suncity studio, the first thing you might notice is the silence. This is not an accident. We have designed this basement space to be a consecrated environment, free from the noise, music, and distraction of typical commercial fitness centers. In the Isha tradition, the atmosphere you practice in is just as important as the postures themselves.
Why No Props?
You will not find bolsters, blocks, or straps here. We teach the body to find its own alignment through repetition and geometric precision rather than relying on external support. By practicing on cotton mats instead of rubber, you learn to develop your own muscular engagement and balance, which stays with you even after you leave the mat.
A Space for Stillness
We keep the studio simple to help you move from a state of doing to a state of being. Whether you are coming for a weekend Angamardana workshop or a regular Hatha session, the space is prepared to help you turn your focus inward. We believe that when you remove the chaos of music and mirrors, the only thing left to confront is your own mind. That is where the real work of yoga begins.
