The Reformer is where we build functional strength. Using spring-based resistance, we challenge your core, correct your posture, and help you move with total precision, whether you are new to fitness or working through rehab.

Here, we demonstrate a kneeling side bend on the Reformer, an excellent exercise for targeting the obliques and improving spinal mobility while challenging your balance.

The Snake and Twist on the Reformer is an advanced move that deeply integrates core strength, shoulder stability, and spinal flexibility for a powerful full-body challenge.

This clip shows a plank variation on the Reformer, a move that requires immense core control and stability to maintain proper form on the moving carriage.

A full house with full energy! This video captures the synchronized movement of a group Reformer class, where we build strength together.

This oblique burner exercise on the Reformer targets the side waist muscles while demanding core stability and coordinated movement. You can feel the muscles working with every repetition.

Here we are using a wooden dowel instead of straps for footwork. This simple prop ensures symmetrical movement, improves control, and brings a new level of awareness to any imbalances.

The Semi-Circle exercise on the Reformer is fantastic for improving spinal mobility. Watch how the movement articulates the spine, strengthens the core, and stretches the front of the body.

Our studio is a space for presence and mindful movement. This clip shows clients engaged in various Reformer exercises, focusing on control and precision.

This is a demonstration of the Rowing exercise on the Cadillac. It's a fantastic movement for strengthening the back and arms while maintaining a stable core.

Movement isn't one size fits all. This video shows how we provide careful, precise guidance during a Reformer session to ensure every movement is purposeful and safe.

About Reformer Pilates: Strength & Control

Instead of standard straps, you will often find us using wooden dowels for footwork during our sessions. This simple shift forces both legs to work symmetrically, immediately highlighting any imbalances you might be unconsciously compensating for. It is that kind of precise, controlled feedback that changes how you move on and off the machine, not just how many reps you complete.

Why Choose the Reformer?

The Reformer is the cornerstone of our studio. Unlike standard gym equipment that relies on heavy weights, our Balanced Body Reformers use spring tension to create resistance that works with your body, not against it. This helps you build long, lean muscle while improving alignment and core stability.

The SRA Approach

We do not believe in one-size-fits-all fitness. Whether you are joining our small group classes of 4-6 people or booking a private 1-on-1 session, you get the same level of attention. We focus on:

  • Breath and Control: Every movement is synchronized with your breath to maximize engagement and reduce mental stress.
  • Injury Rehab and Posture: If you have back pain, sciatica, or are recovering from an injury, we tailor the movements to ensure you are safe and supported. We don't push until you break; we build until you're strong.
  • Form First: Our instructors provide tactile corrections. You will hear us cueing your spine, your hips, and your shoulders, ensuring you are not just 'doing the move' but performing it with intent.

Who Is This For?

Our Reformer sessions are for everyone. We welcome men, seniors, and beginners who might feel intimidated by a regular gym. If you are stiff, unsure, or worried about your technique, come in. We take pride in teaching you the basics so you can grow. Our Bandra and Chembur studios are spaces for you to show up for yourself, work hard, and leave feeling more connected to your body.

I am Sunita. SRA is not just a studio, it is our second home. We keep our group classes small because I believe you deserve to be watched and supported, not lost in a crowd. Whether you are dealing with a back injury or simply want to get stronger, we do it together as a family.
