Yoga Asana Tutorials and Deep Philosophy
Understand the logic behind every movement. These tutorials focus on correct alignment, safety, and the inner journey, not just the physical pose.
In this video, I demonstrate the steps to correctly perform Supta Virasana (Reclined Hero Pose). This asana is excellent for stretching the abdomen, thighs, and deep hip flexors, and it makes the spine flexible and strong.
This tutorial explains Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose). I demonstrate how to perform the pose, which strengthens the lower back, improves digestion, and benefits cardiac function. I also explain the contraindications for those with hernias or ulcers.
Here, I guide you through Ustrasana (Camel Pose). I explain how to enter the pose safely without jerking the neck, and discuss its benefits for back pain, neck pain, and reducing fat in the abdomen and hips.
This video details the seven major benefits of Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand). It is excellent for skin health, eyesight, hair fall, brain function, and managing thyroid issues.
*मन हमारा जहां लगता है, इसका स्वरूप है तदाकार करना।* (Wherever our mind focuses, it takes that form.) This is the nature of the mind. This video touches on the yogic philosophy of how the mind becomes what it dwells on, and how our practice helps us control its focus.
About this collection
Yoga is not about how deep you can stretch, but how safely you can align your body to trigger healing. In these tutorials, I break down the mechanics—like why you use a chair for backbends or how to protect your neck in Ustrasana. If you are struggling with pain or hormonal issues, you need to understand the science of your own body before you try any pose. This is the difference between exercise and actual therapy.
True yoga is 'Chitta Vritti Nirodha'—quieting the mind—but you cannot quiet the mind if your body is in pain or wrongly aligned. My tutorials are designed to show you that safety is the first step of the journey. Whether you are practicing Setu Bandhasana for digestion or Sarvangasana for thyroid health, you must know the contraindications.
I use props like wall ropes and iron chairs not to make the practice easier, but to make it precise. If you have a hernia, you must avoid certain poses, and you need to know why. That is the kind of guidance I provide in my studio in New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Vihar.
We do not chase fancy poses for social media. We work on the foundation. When you learn to engage your muscles correctly, you build the strength to support your inner transformation. It will not happen in a day, but if you show up and do the work, it will happen. If you are ready for a disciplined, therapeutic approach that treats yoga as a science rather than a fitness fad, you belong in our batch.
