Yoga Classes in Greater Kailash 1 for Holistic Wellness
From relieving chronic pain to quieting a busy mind, my practice is about finding the right technique for your body. Here is a glimpse into how we breathe, move, and grow together in my GK studio.
Namaste ji. Back pain is one of the most common issues I see, but you don't have to live with it. In this video, I demonstrate the Cat and Cow stretch, a simple and gentle movement that can provide immediate relief by activating the entire spine.
Don't have much time? No problem. Here is a complete 15-minute yoga routine perfect for beginners. I guide you through simple neck and arm stretches to gently wake up your body and mind.
If you are looking to manage your weight in a healthy, sustainable way, our dynamic yoga flows can help. These sessions are designed to boost your metabolism, build strength, and burn calories without the high impact of a gym workout.
It is always rewarding to hear from my students. Priyank shares how in just a few months, our classes have become his favorite hour of the day, helping him understand his body better in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Inspired by Iyengar yoga, we often use props like chairs and straps to help you achieve the correct alignment in each asana. This makes poses accessible and safe, allowing you to release stiffness and build strength effectively.
We say "get in touch" to others all the time, but when do we get in touch with ourselves? I teach you Bhramari pranayama, or the humming bee breath, a simple technique to calm your mind, reduce stress, and control anger.
What can you expect from my classes? This is a quick summary of the benefits, from relieving chronic pain and improving posture to mastering your breath and reducing stress. My goal is to help you get into your best shape, physically and mentally.
Take a look inside one of our group classes. You'll see students of all levels moving together through a flow. I keep batches small to provide personal attention, ensuring everyone feels supported as they work on their mobility and energy.
About Featured
Yoga isn’t just about bending your body into shapes—it’s about using the right technique to release deep-seated tension. Whether you are dealing with chronic back pain or just feeling the weight of a long day, I use props like wall ropes, blocks, and bolsters to support your alignment. This makes every asana accessible and safe, ensuring you are building strength in the right muscles without unnecessary strain.
My Approach: Technique Over Performance
I believe in the Iyengar-inspired method where the alignment of your body matters more than the depth of your pose. My studio in GK-1 isn't a high-intensity gym where you just sweat and leave. It is a space for sadhana (practice).
When you join my classes, you can expect:
- Prop-Assisted Alignment: We use wall ropes, wooden blocks, and straps to help you hold poses longer and safer, which is crucial if you have limited mobility or are recovering from an injury.
- Small Batches: I keep classes limited to 6-10 people. This allows me to personally adjust your posture, ensuring you don't pick up bad habits that lead to injury.
- Mindful Breathing: Each session integrates Pranayama and meditation. We don't just work on flexibility; we work on the nervous system to help you handle stress outside the studio.
Why Practice With Me?
Most of my students come in with specific issues—stiff shoulders from desk jobs, lower back pain, or simply a feeling of being 'stuck' in their fitness routine. We don't offer generic flows. We address the root cause. If you are struggling with your gut health, we integrate specific asanas to aid digestion. If you have tight hips, we focus on opening sequences.
This is a journey, not a quick fix. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone coming back to the mat, you will find a pace here that respects where your body is today. No pressure, just progress.
Shiva Style Fitness
Namaste ji, I’m Shiva. I started this shala in GK-1 because I saw too many people pushing themselves to exhaustion in gyms without finding the peace or relief they actually needed. My focus is simple: small batches where I can help you fix your posture, breathe better, and actually enjoy your practice.
