Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutation, is a complete practice in itself. It strengthens the back, balances metabolism, and vitalizes the body's solar energy. Watch me demonstrate the flow, which includes asana, pranayama, and meditation techniques.

Looking for a fun way to build functional strength? Try these animal walks. The Duck Walk and Alligator Walk are playful yet challenging exercises that engage your entire body, improving mobility and strength.
Here is another variation of Surya Namaskar. This sequence incorporates a deep squat with heels up, challenging your balance and strengthening your legs and core as you flow from Tadasana to high plank.
In this second variation of my Surya Namaskar series, we focus on building back strength. The flow includes a moment where you lift the chest without pressing the palms, activating the muscles along your spine.
This is the first of five Surya Namaskar variations I teach. It involves moving from a half forward fold into a deep squat and then to Downward Dog, creating a fluid sequence that warms up the entire body.

About Dynamic Yoga for Strength & Weight Management
Most gyms focus on how fast you can move, but here, we focus on how well you can move. In my small batches of 6 to 10 people, I personally correct your posture to ensure you are engaging the right muscles. We use wooden blocks and wall ropes to help you hold poses properly, which means you build real strength without unnecessary strain on your joints.
Strength is not about rushing through reps. When you join my Dynamic Yoga for Strength and Weight Management sessions in GK-1, you will experience a different approach. We combine Hatha and Vinyasa flows to get your heart rate up and metabolism firing, but we slow down where it counts.
Alignment is everything. If you are struggling with weight, it is often because of improper movement patterns that lead to fatigue. By using Iyengar-inspired props, I help you reach the full expression of a pose, even if you are just starting out. This ensures that every squat, lunge, or plank you perform is actually targeting your core and stabilizing muscles.
These sessions are not about a quick fix. We focus on consistent progress. Over time, you will find that the flexibility you gain is matched by a steady increase in endurance. You will leave the mat feeling energized, not drained. Whether you are a beginner or someone who has spent years in the gym, sabka swagat hai (everyone is welcome).
