About Acroyoga & Partner Workshops
You do not need to be a gymnast to start acroyoga. My workshops prioritize safety and communication, which is why I always provide a dedicated spotter for every session. We focus on trust drills and foundational partner poses that help you connect with your partner or team, regardless of your current flexibility level.
Acroyoga and partner workshops are about more than just physical movement; they are about 'Samata', or finding balance together. In my sessions, we move beyond the individual mat to create a space where communication and mutual support are the primary goals.
Why Partner Yoga for Teams?
Workplace stress often stems from a lack of connection. Partner yoga is a proven way to break down those barriers. When you support a colleague in a pose, or when you are supported by them, you build physical and emotional trust that translates back into the office. We use:
- Trust Drills: Weight-bearing exercises that rely entirely on your partner’s support.
- Foundational Acro: Introduction to 'Base' and 'Flyer' roles, starting with basic moves like 'The Bird'.
- Active Stretching: Partner-assisted movements that help you release tension in the neck, shoulders, and back, which is essential for desk-bound professionals.
A Safe, Structured Approach
I know that the idea of lifting someone or being lifted can feel daunting. That is why I bring two instructors to every 90-minute workshop: one lead trainer and one safety spotter. We handle the mechanics—how to position your feet, how to engage your core, and how to spot effectively—so you can focus on the experience.
Whether you are planning a corporate wellness day in Delhi or looking for a unique activity for a group, these sessions are scalable. From beginners who have never touched their toes to those ready to try a partner inversion, everyone finds their place here. We practice at your office or a chosen venue, and no special equipment is required—just comfortable clothing and a willingness to try.
